Brasil or Brazil ? Brasil is the correct spelling but everywhere in the English speaking world it is spelled Brazil. even the embassy in Washington D.C. is shown as Brazil.
Brasilia is the capital of Brasil so that should tell you something. Actually the natives of Brasil spell it with an S but pronounce the S like a Z. So I guess either is correct depending on what language you are writing in. In fact since this site is in english spelling Brasil with a S could be wrong!
